TIMELINE

1994
	March Victoria, Mel B and Mel C audition for a new girl group that was advertised in the showbiz paper "The Stage".
	They get through along with another girl "Michelle" Geri missed the audition and later rang the auditioners and got herself through to the next audtion and makes the group
	Later in 94 The girls all move into a house in Maidenhead and begin rehershing and having vocal and dance training. But all isn't well and Michelle leaves the group - paving the way for Emma to join.
	The girls continue to reherse etc and later, after seeing how much interest they had in them and the fact that they weren't happy with their management, they leave Maidenhead and manage themselves for awhile.
1995
	The girls sign up with Simon Fuller to manage their careers - which in turn gets them a record deal with Virgin.
1996
	April The girls shoot the video for their first single Wannabe
	July Wannabe is released, goes to number 1 and sells over 1,000,000 copies in the UK alone.
	August Wannabe is released in Australia and goes to #1
	September The girls shoot the video for their second single Say You'll Be There in the MoJave Desert in California.
	October Say You'll Be There is released, goes to number 1
	November Spice - the girls debut album is released - and, as usual, goes to #1. It ends up selling over 24, 000,000 copies.
	December 2 Become 1 is released, goes to #1 and becomes the girls first Christmas #1 and 3rd consecutive #1.
1997
	January Wannabe is released in Amercia and goes to #1
	February Spice is released in Amercia and goes to #1
	February 22 The girls perform at the 1997 Brit Awards. They steal the show and also win 2 awards.
	March The girls release their first double A-Side Mama/Who Do You Think You Are, which continues their run of #1 hits.
	April The girls do their first live TV performance on US sketch show Saturday Night Live. They also release their first official book.
	May The girls perform at the Royal Variety Performance and meet Prince Charles.
	May 12 The girls head to Cannes to announce plans for a Spice Girls movie. They dazzle fans & media alike.
	June - August The girls spend their days filming "Spiceworld - The Movie" and recording their second album.
	September The girls perform at the MTV Music Video Awards - and win a couple of awards too! They also film the video for Spice Up Your Life.
	October Spice Up Your Life is released and becomes the girls 5th consecutive #1 single. The girls also perform their first full length concert to competition winners in Istanbul
	November The girls head to South Africa to perform at a charity event and meet Nelson Mendela and Prince Harry.
	November The girls second album Spiceworld is released and becomes their second #1 album. It sells over 15, 000, 000.
	December Too Much is released and goes to #1 - the girls 6th consecutive #1 single and their second consecutive Christmas #1.
	December 7 The girls perform for the Queens 50th Wedding Anniversary Gala (The Royal Gala) & meet the Queen.
	December 15 The girls attend the London Premiere of their movie - Spiceworld - The Movie which Prince Charles, William and Harry also attend!
1998
	January 10 The girls touch down in Australia and attend the Spiceworld - The Movie premiere in Sydney
	January 11 - 12 The girls head to Melbourne for their last stop on their brief Aussie tour.
	January 15 The Girls appear on the "Oprah" show.
	January 15 The girls attend the New York premiere of Spiceworld - The Movie.
	January 22 The girls attend the LA premiere of Spiceworld - The Movie.

	February The girls appear at the Brits and recieve a special award.
	February 24 The girls kick off their World Tour in Dublin.
	March "Stop" is released and goes to #2 - the only single from the girls to date that didn't go to number 1. The girls also continure their World Tour.
	April - May The girls continure their World Tour.
	May 31 Geri releases a statement saying that she has left the group. The remaining girls release a statement saying that they will continue as a four piece.
	June 4 The girls perform with Pavarotti at his annual "War Child" charity event just days after Geri left the band.
	June The girls kick off their American Tour in Miami
	July Viva Forever is released and enters the charts at #1. The girls 7th #1 single.
	July - September The US tour continues until September. The press also announce that Victoria and Mel B are expecting their first babies.
	September 19 The girls attend the first Spice wedding when Melanie B marries Jimmy Gulzar.
	September 20 The girls perform the gig of their careers - 50,000 sreaming fans cheer them on at Wembley Stadium. Mel B becomes the first to have a solo #1.
	October - December The girls have some time off after their World Tour and gear up for the release of their new single.
	December Goodbye goes to #1 , the girls 8th #1 and their 3rd consecutive Christmas #1. Mel C releases her first solo effort - "When You're Gone"
1999
	January - February With "Goodbye" still riding high in charts across the world, the girls have some long awaited time off.
	February 19 & March 4 Mel B becomes the first Spice mum when she gives birth to Phoenix Chi. Victoria gives birth to Brooklyn
	March - July The girls work on solo projects - MB releases "Word Up", G. releases her debut single "Look At Me" and album, MC records her album in LA.
	July 4 England gets it's new Royal family when Victoria Adams marries David Beckham in Ireland. The remaining Spice Girls attend.
	July - November The girls all concentrate on their own thing - Emma hosts her own show on VH1 "Emma" and releases her first solo single "What I Am",
	Mel B hosts a show "Pure Naughty" and also records her debut album. Geri Releases her second single "Mi Chico Latino" which goes to #1 and her second sing;e "Lift Me Up" which also goes to #1,
	and Melanie C releases the first solo Spice album "Northern Star" with the first 2 singles "Goin' Down" and "Nothern Star" entering the charts at #4. The girls do some recording at Abby Road studios in August for their third album.
	November The girls release a book of Photos and quotes from their World Tour called "Forever Spice"
	They also unveil wax works of themselves at Madame Toussads
	December The girls do some gigs in Manchester and Earls court. They also feature on a charity single for Childrens Promise "It's Only Rock "N" Roll.
2000
	January - March The girls continue to work on their solo projects and record their 3rd album
	March 3 The girls attend the Brit Awards where they recieve an "Outstanding Contribution" award and perform. Geri also releases her 4th single "Bag It Up" which gives her her 3rd consecutive #1.
	March 20 Melanie C achieves her first solo #1 with "Never Be The Same Again"
	March - October The girls put the finishing touches on their 3rd album and film the videos for their newest single - a double A-side.
	Victoria releases her debut solo single "Out Of Your Mind" which enters the charts at #2 and Melanie C gets her second #1 with "I Turn To You"
	October 23 The girls release their long awaited 10th single a double A-side - "Holler / Let Love Lead The Way"
	It enters the charts at #1 giving them their 9th #1 single. It's their last single until 2007.
	November 6 - 7 The girls release their long awaited 3rd album "Forever". It enters the charts at #2 not being able to beat Westlife.
	November 16 The girls perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards. This is their last appearance together for over 7 years.
2003 - 2007
	Rumours of reunions plague the girls for 4 years starting with the Reunion Dinner in 2003 up till Bluebells Christening in April 07. In between there where rumours the girls would reunite for Live 8, A German Greatest Hits and on an on and on.
2007
	June 28 After being apart as a 5 piece for 9 years, the 5 girls reunite to announce a Reunion Tour, Greatest Hits album and Documentary.
	October 4 Geri appears on GMTV and announces that, despite reports no new material will be released, the girls will release a new single "Headlines"
	November 12 The girls release their long awaited Greatest Hits album. It enters the charts at #2
	November 15 The girls hit the stage for the first time in 7 years (the first time in 9 years as a quintet) and perform Stop &
	Headlines at the Victoria's Secrets Fashion Show The girls first performane in 7 years goes down a treat and the girls report feeling emotional after taking to the stage.
	November 16 The girls first UK performance was for Children In Need The girls hit the stage and performed their new single "Headlines"
	They also hit the stage to perform theit classic "Stop" in 40's style military outfits - with revise choregraphy.
	November 19 The girls release their long awaited reunion single Headlines in the UK. It's their 11th single.
	December 2 The girls rock Vancouver, Canada on their first stop on "The Return Of The Spice Girl" Tour.
	December 2 - February 26 The girls tour with their "Return Of The Spice Girls" show performing in Vancouver, San Jose, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, London, Cologne, Madrid, Manchester, Boston, Montreal Toronto, Long Island, Newark, East Rutherford, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia & Washington. The performed a total of 47 shows and saying goodbye to their fans.
