|
The Spice Girls
have appeared on Des O'Conner
Tonight, they had a chat with Des
O'Conner, and when asked upon,
Emma admitted she was 20 years
old. Other questions popped up
like if they really do run down
hotel corridors naked, Mel B,
Emma and Geri said they did it
first! It's a bit of a laugh as
they put

| it. When
it comes to asking people out,
sometimes it's done by proxy, or
sometimes straight to the point,
like Geri (slapping her lap)
"come and sit on my

SPICE OF
LIFE
|
This little
snippet was in this weeks TV Week in
Australia (from Molly Meldrum):
I was in London recently
and, let me tell you, the Spice Girls are
huge!
They beat Bananarama and
Eternal to become the first all girl
British group to top the UK charts.
And now they've done it
twice.
The Spice Girls debut
single, "Wannabe", topped the
British charts for seven weeks, keeping
both Robbie Williams and George Michael
out of the number one spot.
And just as Wannabe went
to #1 in Australia, the Spice Girls'
second single, "Say You'll Be
There", made it's debut at number
one in the UK.
Their album, Spice, is now
expected to ba a huge christmas seller.
The girls are hoping to
come to Australia for a promotional tour
in February.
