SPICE
GIRLS CHRISTMAS SCHEDULE
|
The
new Spice Girls album,
due out on 3rd November,
will be preceded by a new
single on 6th October.
Another single is also
expected before
Christmas. Much of the
material is being
recorded in a mobile
studio on the set of
their new film in
London's Docklands.
Virgin said, "It's
great news. We were
beginning to wonder when
they would be able to
record a new album
because of their busy
schedule. We don't know
what the single will be
yet, but we have heard
two tracks and they sound
great."
After the film they will
begin preparing for their
concert in Turkey which
kicks off their world
tour

SPICE
GIRLS SINGLE TO COST
TWICE AS MUCH AS USUAL
|
|
BBC
Radio 1 DJ Simon Mayo
is apparently
expressing his disgust at
the latest Spice Girls
promotion with Pepsi.
The
new single, Step To Me is
only available to fans
who collect 20 ring pulls
from Pepsi canned drinks.
|
With
a can of pepsi usually
costing around 40p, this
means the total cost of
the single will be around
£8 - over twice that of
the usual cost of £3.99
for a chart single.
Angry
at the amount of money
that fans of the group
are expected to pay for a
single, Simon Mayo is
allegedly currently
playing the new single
with a few seconds of
space on either side to
encourage fans to indulge
in a mild bit of piracy
and gain a copy for free.
This is of course
strictly illegal and is
not in anyway encouraged
by Spice Girls
Archive.

The
girls are poised to
record a cover of the
classic Gary Glitter No1

already believed to have
rehearsed the song and
they want to use it in
their movie. It is not
clear if the song will be
released as a single but
a spokesman said it could
not be ruled out.
The girls' debut album
SPICE has fallen to No4
and Say You'll Be There
is one place down to No6
in the US Billboard
chart.
The Spice Girls will also
appear on an exclusive
ITV show called "An
Audience With ..."
on a Saturday evening in
November to face
questions from
celebrities and their
children. They will sing
Mama,
Wannabe and their new
single to be released in
October. It is rumored

RIOT
IN SPICEWORLD
|
It
was reported in today's
Sun newspaper that there
has been a riot at one of
the locations for the
girls new film,

occured when a youngster

"inorderly
behaviour", and his
and other parents got
understandably annoyed.
The
girls have announced that
they want to cover Garry
Glitter's hit song
"Leader Of The
Pack". They plan to
have it as part of the
soundtrack of the movie,
and also hope to get
Garry Glitter to star in
the film.

EMMA
BREAKS HER ANKLE
|
|
Emma
has fallen off her four
inch platform shoes thus
breaking her ankle. As
she left a Turkish TV
studio, she tripped and cracked
her left ankle, sprained
her arm and bruised
her nose. She arrived
home last night in a
wheelchair. She said
"I was running and I
went over" Her mum
Pauline said "She's
in bed. I had to get her
painkillers which have
knocked her out for the
night." A spokesman
said "Emma got a
nasty shock and was in
real agony. But this will
not affect any of the
group's plans."
She
has stated today that her
trade-mark platform boots
are not to blame for her
accident.
Tonight,
outside her flat in
Finchley, north
|
London,
she said:
"It
wasn't the shoes, I was
actually running out of
the TV station and there
was a hole in the ground
and I ran straight into
it."
She
hobbled out to meet
photographers, but was
cheerful despite the
thick bandage. She
confirmed she expects to
be fit again in a week,
ready to begin filming
Spice - The Movie. Fiming
takes place entirely in
London and is expected to
take 6-weeks.

VICTORIA
SPOTTED IN WEDDING SHOP!
|
Victoria
and her boyfriend David
Beckham may be planning
to marry. And thus doing
so, it is making Jackie
(Victoria's mum) happy,
she said "David is a
wonderful young man and
he treats Victoria very
well." and stated
"He's a perfect
gentleman. They see quite
a lot of each other
despite the fact that
they both have very
hectic lives."
Jackie also said that
"David would be
welcomed into our family.
He is such a decent guy,
I couldn't ask more for
my daughter. There's been
a lot of speculation
about Victoria and David,
but the future really is
up to them."
Both
Victoria and David
refused to comment
whether a wedding is in
the near future or not.
