The Spice Girl known as Melanie Brown and her husband Jimmy Gulzar welcomed a baby Girl named Phoenix Chi Gulzar today.

The popstar gave birth to the 5.5lbs baby ad London's Portland hospital at 6:45pm London time.

The parents were joined by fellow Spice Girls Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Adams as well as Melanie's father and mother Martin and Andrea Brown.

Next up for the Spice Girls baby-watch is Victoria Adams, a.k.a. Posh Spice, who is expecting a baby with her fiance David Beckham.

LONDON: Spice Girl Victoria Adams gave birth to a boy early yesterday morning.

The Baby born at 7.28am (Australian Time) and weighing 3.18kg, will be called Brooklyn Joseph, his father David Beckham told reporters.

"It's Brilliant. It's somthing I've always wanted, it's something I've always wanted to do." he said.

Ms Adams, 23, went into Portland Hospital for Woman and Children in Central London around 4am.

She is the second of the four-member Spice Girls pop group to give birth.

Scary Spice Melanie G, who was known as Mel B before her marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar, gave birth to a daughter last month. They called the baby Phoenix Chi.

The name Brooklyn was chosen because that's were Victoria discovered she was pregnant while in New York.

The couple were married in the castle before moving on to the huge marquee set up for their reception.

Guests included the remaining Spice Girls and Davids Man U team mates.

When the couple were pronounced husband ans wife, trumpets heralded the raising of a purple flag bearing the intitials V D B, and a lone white dove was released to soar into the twilight.

The couple over saw proceedings from matching gold thrones as guests drank chmapers and danced up a storm to Spice Girls hits played by an 18-piece orchestra.

Meanwhile, Geri Halliwell performed her biggest solo gig to date when she preformed a 3 song set at the annual Princes Trusr "Party In The Park."

Emma has lost out to Geri however with Emma's "What I Am" entering the charts @ #2 and Geri's "Lift Me Up" coming in at #1.

The girls had some photos taken with their Wax counterparts and appeared happy and content.

The Spice Girls have completed their Christmas tour with a webcast and live tv screening of their final show in the tour at Earls court.

The show was spectacular, although there was a technical hitch when, after changing costumes at intermission, it became apparent that Mel B, unless strapped in tightly, would keep falling out of her top.

Emma and Mel C bantered with the crowd a little until the problem was solved, and the rest of the show went off with
