Spice Girls look set to reunite for the Live 8
charity concert on July 2. The organisers of the
gig have confirmed they are in talks with the
girls and are keen to have the girls perform at
the gig. Rumours
have been circulating for days that the girls
have signed on to do the gig - and even Melanie C
who usually shys away from any Spice Girls
project, has said that it would be a great way
for the girls to reunite.
“I’ve
heard about these reports and, erm, it’s
actually in connection with a gig, erm, Make
Poverty History, like a Live Aid kind of gig and
erm, you know we’re unaware whether that
gig’s actually gonna happen , yet, but what
I will say is I think it’s a fantastic cause
and a great opportunity for the Spice Girls to,
you know, raise the profile of a wonderful cause.
So, there you go, I don’t know whether
it’s gonna happen.” she told Meet Your
Star radio.
It's been
reported that an official announcement will be
made on Tuesday (May 31) and we'll report any
official news as soon as it's known.

| RUMOUR WARNING It looks like Spice Girls
fans will finally get a Greatest Hits CD. The
girls record company in Germany EMI have
confirmed that there will be a Greatest Hits CD
& DVD released in March 2006. It looks like
it is only Germany at the moment, although, if it
is a success, it shouldn't be too long before
other countires follow. Here are the known
