MELANIE C HAS NO PLANS TO JOIN THE BABY CLUB
English singer songwriter Melanie Chisholm or Mel C as she is known, has no plans of joining the other Spice Girl members in becoming a yummy mummy.

Even though she adores children, Mel C is in no hurry to have any of her own, despite her age or her relationship.

“Arggh!” News of the World quoted her as yelling.

“Don”t mention the B” word! Everybody asks whether I”m going to be next or whether I”m trying at the moment.

“I hate to disappoint people, but the answer is no”. Everyone thinks that because I”m 34 and in a serious relationship, I”m desperate to start a family.

“But I”m not. I love kids and one of the best bits about touring with the Spice Girls this time round was getting to know everyone’’s babies.

“I think people expected me to start feeling broody, but I didn”t and I still don”t. I”m sure at some point babies will be part of my future, but I don”t think there’’s anything wrong with feeling happy without them,” she said.

Chisholms relationship with property developer boyfriend Thomas Starr has been going on for six years, and she has homes in London and Wales, and is feeling chilled about life. But motherhood can wait.

“It’’s great the other girls are mothers, but we all have different paths in life, and mine doesn”t include babies right now,” she said.

“And while I”m being so honest, I”d better say my current plans don”t include marriage either. Maybe one day, but right now neither of us is in any rush to change things,” she added.

MELANIE B TALKS TO FAMOUS
Melanie B has given an interview to Australia's "Famous" magazine:

NOT SO SCARY AFTER ALL

Melanie B takes time out at the Monte Carlo Television Festival to talk to us about her rivalry with Victoria Beckham, her relationship with one of the world's most famous deadbeat baby daddies and how she's found love again.

We've heard you're writing a song about your daughter's father Eddie Murphy called Beverly Hills C***. Do you still speak to him?
We have a beautiful baby together and that's about it. She lives with me, and she's just started walking - she's adorable but he has no time for his daughter. But it's OK - I've moved on.

Is it true you're competitive with Posh now she's living in LA?
Victoria is my friend, so we don't really compete. I do what I do, and she does what she does.

You have two young daughters, how do you balance work & family?
My kids travel with me. I make sure I get my kids off to school in the morning and then we read a bedtime storybook at night - it's very important to have your kids around you and what they see what you do.

You recently got hitched to movie producer Stephen Belefonte. How is married life?
I think it agrees with me - I'm happy all the time. We're the best of friends, which I think is one of the most important things in a successful marriage. We just had our first wedding anniversary and he organised a helicopter and this beautiful restaurant, but I actually got a tapped nerve in my hip, so I ended up staying and relaxing at the hotel.

Now that you are a dedicated family woman, are your wild, aggressice days of being Scary Spice behind you?
I think as you get older you soften a little bit and kids definitely bring your priorities into a different light. I've grown up as a person. I'm still Scary Spice, and I'm still me. I don't really know what else to say about that, apart from don't get me mad!
