| GETTING
STARTED |
Spice Girls Archive was
started because I was working on a
seperate site for music videos / lyrics
/etc and I came across many awesome sites
that had a whole band's history including
archive news, detailed career highlights,
lyrics, discography etc etc, and I saw
that while there are many AWESOME Spice
Girls sites out there - there isn't one
that is a tribute to their career and
includes all aspects of their career, so
I thought about it for awhile and decided
that I was going to take the plunge and
do it.
Deciding what to call it
and what to include in the site was the
first task - then came the process of
gathering all the info, pics etc from all
over the net and of course in my own
personal collection of articles, books
and magazines

DESIGN |
Spice
Girls Archive was launched on
January 30, 2004 with the design
you see above. It was a pretty
basic easy to navigate design -
and I intend to keep all the
designs of the Archive the same
way. Because although flashy
sites can be great to look at, I
want SGA to be a fast and easy to
navigate site.

Spice Girls
Archive was relaunched in October
04 with a new design and LOADS
more content. Again it was a
simple design and easy to
navigate site with new sections
added like "Play" and
little bits of info pages added

| The
Third look you see was inspired
by a Geri Fan site. By April 05
however, I decided that the time
was right for a new look. |

| The
fourth design was the Promo photo
shoot design. I used different
pictures from the same photoshoot
in the layout. I really loved
this design but thought it was
time for a fresh look. |

| The
fifth design had elements of the
fourth design - and it did't
change too much. Basically just
the Index and main page got a
major revamp. |

| The
6th design still retained
elements of the 4th & 5th
designs but with a cool
background and also graphics to
commemorate 10 years of the Spice
Girls. |

| The
7th design retained elements of
the 4th & 5th designs, but
was hopefully more sleek and
sophisticated. |

| The
8th design was easily my
favourite ever - hence it
remaining so long. It was sleek
and sophisticated and I loved it!
It retained a few elements from
the design before. |

| The 9th
design came about because
I felt it was time for a
COMPLETE overhall of the
site as a lot of the
pages have been there
since the beginning of
the site and need a
revamp. I condensed the
pages a little and added
small menu icons. |

| The
current design you see was done because I
felt the site need a new look with a
bigger window to view tha pages of the
